I can understand that HP sells their printers at a reduced rate and makes their money on the ink cartridges, but the small amount of ink in this pack is ridiculous. I am going back to re-fills. They’re trying to cheat their customers.

I purchase and paid for NEW not used ink cartrides and when I used them, they soon ran out of ink. I opened the fill holes under the label and saw that they had sold me what is know as SAMPLE cartridges. There was no foam packing from the middle of the cartrige to the back side. These are cartriges that are inserted by manufactures into newly purchsed printers to get you started. But are not intended for long term printing. I wrote to them (Infinite-Surplus)about it and they told me I would have to take it up with HP & not them. I wrote them back and said I purchased from you (Infine-Surplus) not HP and they should take care of thier customers. They from that point on ignored all of my e-mails.And now I am put out with having to deal with HP for replacements. I WILL NO LONG PURCHASE INK FROM INFINITE-SURPLUS! THEY DO NOT STAND BEHIND THIER PRODUCTS! AND THEY PRETTY MUCH TELL YOU THAT IN THIER RETURN POLICY.

Many people get frustrated with how long the ink will last with their printers. It is important to note that this is an issue with all printers and all ink. The name brand is always better than a recycled cartridge as well. I feel very lucky for my printer requires merely a cartridge for black, color and one for photo printing if need be. I only use the black and color and find with the black ink the estimated 220 page yield is pretty accurate. I don’t do major project priniting like graphics or anything.

Many of my friends have printers that require black and a cartridge for each individual color for a total of about 6 cartridges before it will even print. How much more expensive that would be. And they have the same problem with how long the ink lasts. I tried recycled cartridges for awhile for they are a little cheaper but they would always clog after a while and I would then have to use the clean process thru the printer which uses much ink. I got at least a 30% lesser page yield with these recycled ones and also had the added frustration. To get full deep clarity of color in the printing was rare. But when I use the name brand HP I never have the cartridges clog, the printings are always full with no fading and I can check the ink level on my computer. I just accept the page yield I get from them, purchase them at Amazon where I get great prices and I can always rely on great printing. Again sadly, the page yield is a problem with all brand printers. And the price I paid here for the 2 black cartridges was unbelievable. I understand the frustration but say this is the best quality and longest yielding ink you will get for an HP printer. Highly recommend.
