Arrived today in great condition. I bought this as an alternative to a super expensive iPad to use at college instead of lugging my heavy laptop every day. The initial charge to 100% takes quite some time, I’ve been charging it for about 4 hours now and it’s only at 60%, but I’ve also been using it during that time, so that probably isn’t helping much. It runs just like an android phone, only on a much larger screen.
First off, you have to set the date and time, and if you use the weather widget, change it from Beijing, however, I can’t figure out how to change it from Celsius to Fahrenheit. Maybe redownloading the widget will help. It is in English, so you don’t have to worry about figuring out how to change the language from Chinese, which is nice. Unlike the reviews I’ve seen on similar apads, the android market is pre-installed, so as soon as you are hooked to your wi-fi you can start plunking apps down. I highly suggest ordering two 16GB mini-SD cards to go with it, the android OS takes up a little over half of the 2GB internal HD. After you set the time and the weather widget, calibrate the screen from the settings menu. I didn’t do that and was having issues using the on screen keyboard until I did so. Now it responds just fine to my touch.
I’ve seen on reviews for similar products that you need to use a stylus or a fingernail to manipulate the screen, but that’s not so with this one. Your fingerpad works just fine. It’s not a multi-touch screen, but hey, it’s only $200, so you can’t have everything, but the screen size is big enough that you really don’t need it, plus it does have a zoom option.
Don’t purchase an iPad case and try to use it for this. It won’t work. iPad’s have a 9.7″ screen where this one has a 10.2″. You’d be better off buying a case for a netbook. Later on I’m going to hook up a USB mouse and keyboard and see how the system responds. I’ll update my review after I’ve played with it some more, but so far, I really like it.

|I went from frustrated to happy!,
I, like most people ordered this Superpad tablet because of the PRICE, the HUGE screen size, and for necessity. When I first received this product, I was dumbfounded. The only thing working for me was the USB port/flash drive. Two days I was frustrated because I couldn’t down load anything, I got no response from the developer ( I sent him 3 emails), and the widgets were so stupid. But, soon, after some trial and error I figured things out.
YOU MUST HAVE micro SD card in order to use the Market or download. The video is good. Size is great and the downloads are pretty fast. Once I figured out how this tablet worked and believe me, it wasn’t easy…I’m happy now with this purchase. I didn’t want to pay 600 bucks for a USB port less IPAD. This product has 2 USB ports and 2 SD ports. I would suggest others to buy. The youtude video also works great. Not slow at all. I think I will get my son one for his Birthday.

|I love it,
I did alot of research before I made my purchase. Read the reviews and so on. I got my Superpad a few days ago, and I love it. Everything was included as promised. Yes, charging was required as I thought it would be. I have read some negative reviews and find them to be wildly overstated. Or maybe I am the one who is stupid.
My product works wonderfully. I use both the stilus, and my finger it just takes so getting use too. Other than that it is a wicked product, and it is not just me saying that. Everyone in my workplace that has seen it (Of course I had to demo it for them) thinks it is wicked especially when I tell them all the features. Like the dual SD card slots, all the ports. That the IPAD doesn’t have. I have had guesses of up to $1000.00. When I tell them that I spent less than $300.00 they are really impressed. Bravo China. I do alot of one on one training in my job, and all of my notes are in my Android phone (too small for two people to view in a training setting) the larger 10.2 screen makes session move along so much faster.
Now I will admit I am new to the tablet movement. I have never touched an IPAD. I did however purchase and Archos 7 and I returned in within two days. However I am not new to computers as a whole. I own a desktop, a laptop, and an Android smart phone, and now a tablet. In my home are two more laptops, three more smart phones, as well as a palm pilot. Somehow it became my job to keep them all running and up to date. So with that said, I like to think that I can spot a top notch product when I see and put my hands on one, this is without a doubt it.
Now I would like to say a couple of things about Amazon.com. This is the first time ever I have purchase anything online. I just didn’t trust it. I like going to a store, paying my money, and walking out with the product. Hats off to you Amazon. You kept me up to date on my order, it even arrived before the projected date, complete, and packed well. You just earned a customer for life.
