I would to share a story when I’m using an Epson C-90 compare with my lovely Epson printer C-87
Epson C-90 is a printer with cheap price but is not good if we use a non stop printing.
Not like C-87/D-88 is powerful Epson printer. Epson C-87 is very gratifying. If we look a mechanism for Epson C-90 made plastic compare with Epson C-89 made from steel
Although Epson C-90 print image up to 5740 x 1400 dpi but the printing is not smooth like C-87. Both are durabrite ink. Because the Epson C-90 head is have 4PL for droplet volume. C-87 has 3 Pl for droplet volume.
Why the Epson not Continue Epson C-87. With a cheap price but C-87 is more powerful than Epson C-90 is weak and very slowly printing.
And compare with result print, Epson C-87 still the best.

I bought epson c90 yesterday (May 19, 2008)… My problem is that when my prints (photo mode) reaches about 15 to 20 the printer would not feed the paper correctly and then shuts down completely… when i turned it on some of the ink level jumped almost half (esp. the black ink) and I am so upset… one cartridge costs nearly P500 pesos here in our country… and this is not a very rich country… epson people please make your inks a little cheaper… you cant blame your consumers if we resort to generic inks or continuous ink system. can you?
i have also a problem about may Epson printer C90…i using Original Cartridge but my printer head is DAMAGE..no CYAN output..i thought CYAN cartridge have a problem..i change my cartridge but the same problem i have.no CYAN output….not like may old epson printer C67 and R230 the 2 printer are so powerfull may printer is almost 3yrs and i lot to printer in my C67 and R230 printer…
It’s new for Epson c90 and c90. don’t work and red indicator lamp, for too costly original ink become I refill. how is this ???. are there reset it
