This carrying case works as expected. It could be improved significantly if the front pocket were increased in size by about 1″. This would facilitate easier transport of USB drive, Magic Jack, cables etc.

|Good but not 100% what I was expecting.,
I purchased the green case. However it did not come with the mouse pad (which I didn’t care about since I don’t use a mouse with my netbook, so it wasn’t worth the hassle to try and get one).
Quick pros/cons for those that don’t like to read much:
PROS
-fits my 11.6″ netbook (almost impossible to find an 11.6″ case in stores around me)
-bright and easy to find color, good looking case
-charger fits in case
-handles are handy
-Price is nice
-I can fit my slim external hard drive or thumb drives in the mesh pocket inside.
-Slim design, not a bulky carrying case
CONS
-hard case is flexible and will bend inwards
-little to no padding – just a felt lined shell
-about 2″ extra space in the case – my netbook can shift around quite a bit
-did not come with mouse pad
The details:
The case fits my 11.6″ Acer Acer Aspire One AO722-BZ454 Netbook (Dimensions from the sellers site: 11.22″ x 7.91″ x 1.00″). The charger will even fit in the case if I remove the interchangeable plug portion, but I probably won’t do that much. There is a small flap inside that looks like it will hold memory cards.
My biggest complaint is that the hard case is flexible. I wasn’t looking for a carry all case for every accessory and didn’t want anything bulky. I bought a hard case since I carry my netbook in a book bag and wanted to protect it from notes and books pressing on it. I used a neoprene sleeve with my last netbook and wanted more protection, even though my last netbook made it 2+ years with heavy travel. I feel like this case was a waste of money since it provides the same amount of protection that the sleeve provided.
There is very little to no padding inside the hard case. It has a snug fit side to side, but not on the hinge/opening side where the case has about 2 inches where it can shift. (I understand it may fit a different netbook better, but it’s hard in general finding cases for the 11.6″-ers) Since there’s little padding I worry about it having less than ideal protection where the most problems I read about or have personally had in the past (involving the screen or issues with the hinge).

This laptop case is great! It fits my 11in with its large extra power battery. It is durable and protects my baby well! I recommend it if you want something sturdy that still fits in a backpack!
