I bought this after I ripped the cheaper case that was not leather after a month of use. I liked the Lenovo case because it had better leather feel and I can easily take the Thinkpad Tablet in and out for charging on the docking charger. However, I’ve noticed after a week of use that it doesn’t hold the tablet in place. The plastic clips doesn’t seem to hold the tablet securely that my kids have already dropped it out of its case couple of times. So, I think this one is also going back.

I’ve been using this folio for a little over a week now and so far I am very pleased with it. The leather isn’t top quality, but it does look nice and professional. The tablet fits nice and securely inside. My only real issue is the way the tablet sits when you fold the folio back to stand it up. When oriented to slope at a lower angle it works great, except for the fact that some applications will only orient in one landscape direction (causing them to appear upside down). When you have it oriented to stand up at the higher angle the tablet feels unsteady, which works fine for watching a video or looking at something, so if you try to tap on things it feels like the tablet is going to fall over. If anything bumps it from behind or shakes it while standing in this orientation it will fall over.

I am very happy with the folio over all, but I hadn’t paid $50 for it. The top price for it should really be in the $30 to $40 range. Hopefully there will be some third party folios before to long which will drive down prices.

This case is well made. It’s also small which i like, it can easily fit into a purse/bag. It also has the hard casing built into it so the thinkpad is more protected. The only think i dont like is the way it folds, im afraid it’s going to break. Im not sure if it’s worth $50 yet.
